Policies

You are responsible for reading and being aware of the policies, especially for special events and Holy Days.

Sites are first-come-first-served. We do not maintain a waiting list. Keep calling to get a site when someone cancels.

Be aware of special events and Holy Days. This may greatly effect availability and rates.

You are responsible for reading and being aware of “cancellation” policies for special events and Premium dates.

Guests or groups causing excessive noise, at the discretion of the owner/manager of the park, will be liable for any refund given to other campers.

Credit card number is required for making a reservation and staying at our Resort.

No open campfires. There is a $75 fine for anyone found with an open fire.
Pet Policies

Pets love to walk and explore their surroundings. Please keep them on a leash at all times.

Pets do not have the luxury of using restrooms or pool facilities.

Please take them to the pet walk and clean up after them.

Pets are not allowed in cabins. No exceptions!

Pets love to spend time with you. Isn’t that why you brought them? Please take them with you when you leave the park. If at any time your pet is left unattended we reserve the right to call animal control and have it removed only if there is just cause.

Many people, including ourselves, love pets but there are some who do not. You are responsible for your pet in all regards.

No aggressive breeds allowed in the park at any time! Included, but not limited to Pit bulls, rottweilers, doberman pincers, mastiffs or any similar breed.
Cancellations
In the event of cancellation, please notify us as soon as possible. Deposits will be returned in the form of a (bank check) and charged $5.00 plus shipping by mail or a credit will be issued to your card. Cancellation & Refund Policy is different for special events and Holy Days. “Black Out” events forfeit entire deposit if less than 72 hours notice. Please ask when making reservation. Your advance deposit, less a $10.00 handling fee, will be refunded if Western Trails is notified 72 hours before your scheduled arrival date. If not notified no refund will be given.
*Any Refunds can be issued as a Credit that can be applied for stays at a later date or at any of our retail partners.
Checkin and Checkout Policies

Checkin time for RV sites and tent sites is 12:00 noon

Checkin times for cabins is after 3:00 pm
-
No late chekouts on cabins! No exceptions!

Late checkouts on RV sites are $10.00. That gives you until 3:00 pm.

Late checkouts on tent sites are $5.00 until 3:00 pm.
-
1 vehicle per site, as space allows – extra vehicles must go in overflow!

If you have not check out by 11:00 nor have purchased a late check out you will be charged for that night, if you do not need that extra night a credit will be applied to your account.

Holy Days
Shabbat
The day of rest and weekly observance of God’s completion of creation.
Rosh Hashanah
The Jewish New Year—a holiday observed with festive meals and a day spent in prayer or quiet meditation.
Yom Kippur
The Jewish Day of Atonement—the most solemn day of the Jewish year. A day devoted to self–examination, and the chance to begin the New Year with a clean slate.
Sukkot
A celebration of the fall harvest, this holiday also commemorates the time when the Hebrews dwelt in the Sinai wilderness on their way to the Promised Land.
Shemini Atzeret
Literally the “8th day of assembly,” this holiday marks the end of Sukkot with an annual prayer for rain.
Simchat Torah
The day marking the end and the beginning of the annual Torah reading cycle.
Hanukkah
A festival celebrating liberation from oppression, freedom of worship, and finding light in the darkest of times.
Tu B’Shevat
The Jewish “New Year of the Trees,” celebrated with observances that connect us to our environment and the natural world.
Purim
A day celebrating the saving of the Jews from a diabolical plot of destruction, as recounted in the Book of Esther.
Passover
A festival of freedom that marks the Hebrew exodus from Egypt long ago.
Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Memorial Day)
The day Jews all over the world mourn the loss of six million Jewish lives lost during the Holocaust.
Yom HaZikaron (Israeli Memorial Day)
A day commemorating the soldiers who have fallen fighting for Israel’s independence and defending its security.
Yom HaAtzmaut (Israeli Independence Day)
This holiday celebrates the independence of the Modern State of Israel.
Lag B’Omer
The holiday that marks the 33rd day of the 49-day “Omer” period between Passover and Shavuot.
Shavuot
The celebration of the giving of the Torah to the Jewish people, also known as the Festival of First Fruits.
Tisha B’Av
An important fast day commemorating the destruction of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem in 586 BCE and 70 CE.
Tu B’Av
A Jewish celebration of love.
SPECIAL POLICIES for these events (not applicable at other times)

No changes to your reservation within 30 days of the event.

Reservations who do not arrive or notify us prior to 8:00 am the day after your scheduled arrival date are charged the full amount of their stay. If you can not make it we will issue you a credit for return visit.

During these events you are responsible for the days you book.
